Dennis Seley

Dennis Seley is an experienced trial lawyer who has practiced throughout California, primarily in Sacramento and Placer counties.  He successfully argued before the Third District Court of Appeal, and has tried cases in Superior Court and Federal Court throughout California.  Mr. Seley provides a comprehensive risk analysis of his client’s risks and probability of successful recovery based upon a realistic appraisal of liability and damages throughout the life of a case.  He has settled numerous cases in mediation and direct negotiation with opposing counsel using his seasoned experience and skills.

He has earned an “AV-Preeminent” status rating with Martindale Hubbell which signifies the highest peer rating in legal ability and ethical standards.  He was recognized as one of the first attorneys in the United States to successfully submit virtual reality as evidence which took place during trial in Placer County, and which was included in an article by Jeffrey Dunn. His trial record for all cases tried to verdict as lead counsel is available upon request.

He has been a speaker for American Honda Motor Co., AEGIS, Swift Transportation, CEB-Civil Litigation and the Association of Defense Counsel, Northern California.  In addition, he has written articles for the Defense Research Institute – For the Defense, The Voice and the Trucking-Winter E-Newsletter.
